We are so grateful to Dr. Sagoo for the incredible care he gave my mum. He took on a procedure that many others were hesitant to attempt, but he approached it with confidence, patience, and genuine compassion. Throughout the entire process, he explained everything clearly and made us feel completely reassured. The procedure went beautifully, and my mum’s outcome has been amazing, far better than we ever expected. Seeing her doing so well now is something our whole family is deeply thankful for. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines expertise with such kindness. We will always be grateful for what he’s done for our mum. Dr Sagoo is such a great physician and made me feel safe and heard before, during and after my procedure. I want to commend Aga Khan Hospital for having him on the staff, to be able to have access to UFE as an alternative to dealing with Fibroids was amazing. Dr Sagoo worked with my schedule, explained everything in detail, had an awesome team during the procedure and ensured I was comfortable throughout my recovery. He even called me several weeks later just to check in. I feel great, and glad to have my normal life back. Thank you Dr!Posted on Nduta MurakaruTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Recovery period was short, was on sick leave for 2 weeks but only utilized 1 week. I did not experience any post-op complications. Thank you Dr Sagoo, really appreciated.Posted on Dipali ShahTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had the Uterine Fibroid Embolisation procedure done with Dr Ravjit Sagoo 7 months ago and I’m so pleased with the outcome. I suffered with anaemia from very heavy bleeding caused by fibroids for a number of years and kept putting off having an invasive procedure to rectify the situation. After speaking to someone who had the UFE procedure with Dr Sagoo and learning about how minimally invasive the procedure was and their positive outcome, I decided to go ahead with the procedure, and I’m so glad I did. Dr Sagoo was professional and knowledgeable in his field. He was very approachable and answered all my questions thoroughly and put my mind at ease. The procedure itself was very short and I was discharged on the same day as my pain was manageable on oral painkillers. The recovery was fairly quick and within a week I didnt need any more pain medication and I was left with only a small mark on my wrist through which the catheter was inserted (which has since faded and disappeared). My periods have become lighter with no clotting and a normal flow and my iron levels have gone back up to normal levels. I’m so happy I had the procedure done and would happily recommend Dr Sagoo to anyone!Posted on jones mutindaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I encountered Dr. Sagoo during a biopsy procedure of our mum. He is extremely informed. He carried out the procedure professionally and confidently, with good and worth-while briefing before commencement and close monitoring of the patient post-procedure. I highly recommend him.Posted on Edith AlusaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have had a good experience with the PICC line that was put in by Dr. Sagoo. I needed it as part of my Chemo treatment since I was unable to use a chemoport and it was always a struggle getting a vein for my treatment (I have small veins). I was anxious before the procedure to put in the PICC line but Dr Sagoo explained each step clearly so it was easy to understand what I could or could not do once it was in. It's a day procedure so no hospitalization needed. You only feel the prick of the needle to numb the site at which he will insert the line...after that you feel nothing....and you are awake...If you do feel something you can let the doctor know. Living with a PICC line means no normal showers no bathtub, or swimming but is easy to manage with some adjustments (use a bucket and a jug to pour water). Do you feel pain with it in?....the first week is uncomfortable but after 3 weeks it settles and you can function normally (cooking, eating with that hand etc...remember NOT to lift heavy items until the line is out). Any concerns I had I sent to Dr. Sagoo with a photo and he was able to (in a less than 24hrs...I don't know how he does it..he's so busy!!) respond and put my mind at ease. The only thing you need to know is that the line needs to be cleaned once a week (notnoptional...an infection can be fatal). After I saw how meticulously it needs to be done (cleaned) I realised it can't be done at just any clinic.... so I needed to factor in visits back to the hospital every 7 days. I'm happy I used a PICC line because it meant that for my chemo sessions I didn't need to have any inconvenience or pain of being pricked or them searching for a line.Posted on ELSHEBA KIBORTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My Experience with Vascular Malformation Treatment Let me share my experience I was diagnosed with a vascular malformation on my left leg, which caused a lot of pain, especially after walking long distances. After several scans, I was advised to undergo open surgery with a recovery period of 8–12 weeks. Honestly, that timeline felt quite daunting, so I decided to wait. However, one day I decided to research less invasive treatment options for VMs, and that’s how I discovered Dr. Ravjit Sagoo. I called him, and we scheduled a consultation at Aga Khan Hospital. Later, he performed a minimally invasive surgery at Avenue Hospital and I can confidently say the procedure was seamless. My recovery journey has been remarkable I was able to resume my normal duties in less than a week! I highly recommend Dr. Sagoo. He is not only exceptionally skilled but also genuinely caring. H e personally follows up with his patients even after discharge. My experience under his care has truly been one of a kind.Posted on E&M RobertsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. At the end of August 2025 I was hospitalised with an abdominal abscess. Dr R. Sagoo expertly inserted a pigtail drain guided by remote imagery. The insertion was relatively painless and took an approximate 15 minutes using local anaesthetics, while the removal (some four weeks later) was without any pain or local anaesthetic, and took less than 5 minutes. Dr Sagoo performed both procedures with commendable skill, expertise and care. He was also particularly helpful in explaining the procedures, as well as the results. He continued to monitor the drainage and my condition, clarifying the progress being made and taking the time to answer all my questions in detail – even when I consulted him on the last CT Scan done by another radiologist. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Sagoo as a vascular and interventional radiologist. From my experience, Dr Sagoo is exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable in his field, as well as being caring and attentive to the individual needs of his patients. E Meyerhoff-Roberts (PhD)
